Launch ChitoCare® as a premium clean beauty ingredient and make the science behind it feel approachable to a cosmetic industry audience.
OVERVIEW
ChitoCare® is a high-purity mushroom-based chitosan developed by Chinova Bioworks. The launch was timed to NYSCC Supplier's Day 2025, and the challenge was real: biotech data doesn't sell itself. I helped translate the ingredient's story into a visual identity and digital experience that made the science legible and the brand feel premium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
I led the creative from brief to final deliverable across an eight-week timeline. That meant building the visual identity, designing packaging, a postcard, a backdrop banner, and a website, all working together as a cohesive brand system. The art direction had to bridge biotech rigour and the aesthetic expectations of the clean beauty market.
