Build a visual identity for Alli's social media presence that made a brand-new event app feel worth downloading.
OVERVIEW
Alli by Lifetrack is a locally built event app for Fredericton. My role crossed both UX and visual design, which meant I understood the product from the inside and could translate that into social graphics that actually reflected the app experience. The work covered the app icon through to event invitation graphics posted across Instagram and other social platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
I art directed and designed the social assets, including the app icon, Instagram posts, and a broader set of social media graphics used to promote events on the platform. The visual strategy had to make each event feel worth showing up to while keeping the Alli brand consistent across every post. Working across both UX and social design on the same product meant the graphics and the in-app experience felt like they came from the same place.
